O projeto Newcomers@Work<\/strong> nasceu da urg\u00eancia circunstancial e das preocupa\u00e7\u00f5es comuns em torno da inclus\u00e3o social dos jovens<\/strong> de origem refugiada ou migrante.<\/strong><\/p>

At\u00e9 agora, muito poucas<\/strong> ac\u00e7\u00f5es foram concebidas especificamente para a popula\u00e7\u00e3o de jovens com idades compreendidas entre os 18 e os 25 anos,<\/strong> que chegaram<\/strong> recentemente a um pa\u00eds europeu e que enfrentam uma multiplicidade de barreiras<\/strong> no acesso \u00e0 vida social, pol\u00edtica, econ\u00f3mica e cultural da sociedade de acolhimento.<\/p>

De acordo com as estat\u00edsticas do Eurostat de 2019, 39% dos migrantes entre os 18 e os 30 anos est\u00e3o em risco de pobreza ou exclus\u00e3o social.<\/strong>Ao mesmo tempo, ao tomar em considera\u00e7\u00e3o os factores de risco para algu\u00e9m se tornar um NEET (jovens que n\u00e3o trabalham, nem estudam), o nosso grupo-alvo \u00e9 caracterizado por, pelo menos, tr\u00eas destes factores: baixa escolaridade, origem migrante e baixo rendimento do agregado familiar. O seu caminho para o desemprego e a pobreza parece ser um \"caminho de sentido \u00fanico\".<\/p>

Por outro lado, o trabalho com jovens<\/strong>apesar do seu papel crucial na capacita\u00e7\u00e3o desta popula\u00e7\u00e3o, n\u00e3o registou avan\u00e7os significativos nesse sentido.<\/strong> Os profissionais do sector da juventude n\u00e3o conseguem prestar servi\u00e7os de apoio eficazes, tais como oportunidades de forma\u00e7\u00e3o de qualidade e orienta\u00e7\u00e3o. Afalta de compet\u00eancias espec\u00edficas, de ferramentas especializadas, de directrizes e de procedimentos<\/strong> para este grupo particular de NEETs faz com que os t\u00e9cnicos de juventude e as partes interessadas relevantes n\u00e3o estejam preparados para lidar com os seus problemas inter-relacionados, que normalmente incluem traumas, pobreza, dist\u00e2ncia cultural e outras discrimina\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Tendo em conta o contexto em constante mudan\u00e7a e as j\u00e1 grandes necessidades causadas pelos fluxos migrat\u00f3rios anteriores e actuais, a principal motiva\u00e7\u00e3o e valor deste projeto \u00e9 garantir que os jovens que chegaram recentemente a um pa\u00eds europeu, independentemente das raz\u00f5es, encontrem uma motiva\u00e7\u00e3o para ficar e adquiram as compet\u00eancias necess\u00e1rias para serem inclu\u00eddos no mercado de trabalho local. <\/strong>S\u00f3 participando em todas as esferas da vida econ\u00f3mica e social \u00e9 que se tornar\u00e3o cidad\u00e3os activos e a sua inclus\u00e3o social um objetivo comum para os parceiros do projeto e para a UE.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
